I coriander6/30/2023 ![]() ![]() It was a room of rags and feathers, nothing more.” The bedroom covers were all torn and tattered, feathers split from the mattresses, and the wash basin was cracked and broken as if long abandoned. The curtains that the sun had been badgering were now no more than a mass of spiders webs. ” Everything in the room was covered in a layer of thick dust. The imagery throughout the novel is beautiful, and everything is described in great detail. One of things which is fun seeing change, is Coriander’s fear of the stuffed baby alligator in her father’s study, it holds the key to the cabinet in its mouth, and at the end, it comes alive (just like she had feared all along) it saves her-I can’t tell you how because it will spoil it! The story unfolds through the eyes of six year old Coriander, who is almost 20 by the end of the book. It is packed full of mystery, magic and adventure, and history, with the slightest bit of romance. ![]() It is the best book I have ever read, I couldn’t put it down and read the 300 paged book in two days. ![]() It is really hard to describe, because although it is set in a real time from history, it moves between two different worlds, it is unlike any book I have read before. At the back of the book there are some historical background notes. This book is set in 1649, just after King Charles 1st had been executed. ![]()

The Joy of Jane by Tim Bullamore6/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Anna’s work is fresh, contemporary and tightly produced. I have worked with Anna on a wide range of University of Edinburgh projects - from bespoke research websites to logos - and cannot recommend her highly enough. ![]() She brings a lot of thought and fantastic attention to detail to every task and I'm delighted to have her help at ProCopywriters and the Copywriting Conference. She created our Copywriting Conference brand (and hundreds of assets) and has designed our last 4 ProCopywriters survey reports. I highly recommend Anna for creating a bespoke brand identity!Īnna is a fantastic designer - and incredibly versatile too. I am very impressed with her designs and her ability to bring my vision to life, but also make brilliant suggestions when needed. She started with the logo concept and tied everything else with this design from there – keeping me updated each step of the way. Anna designed a logo, letterhead, LinkedIn templates, brand guidelines, and a webpage visual for my freelance business. ![]() Shadow amanda sun6/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Unsure how to help Tomo, Katie turns to an unexpected source for help–Jun, her former friend and a Kami with an agenda of his own.
